American Shizuki Corporation (ASC), a leading manufacturer of electrical capacitors, is looking for an experienced Electromechanical technician, but willing to train someone right out of college. This position is located in Ogallala, NE home to beautiful Lake McConaughy, Nebraska’s largest reservoir. This position requires an associate’s degree in electronics or electromechanical technology along with 2-3 years of electro-mechanical experience. Knowledge of PLC’s and automation controls a plus.

Need to have a working knowledge of complex electrical/electronic equipment and circuits, ability to read and edit PLC programming, blueprints, diagrams and sketches. Under limited supervision, position will analyze, troubleshoot, install and repair electrical systems on industrial manufacturing equipment; repair electronic components and controls used in manufacturing; locate and diagnose complex equipment failures including mechanical, electronic, pneumatic and hydraulic control systems, and perform preventative maintenance as scheduled.

This individual must perform non destructive testing and analysis on rotating and auxiliary equipment and control systems in a designated area of a natural gas pipeline system. Position will be filled at level commensurate with skills block and experience.
