Employee of the Year

Sherri Knitig, executive secretary to President Clouse, was named the first recipient of the new Northwest Kansas Technical College “Employee of the Year” Award at the NWKTC Annual Christmas Party on Dec. 15.

Knitig was selected based on campuswide nominations and then chosen by a 5-member committee of faculty, staff, community and board members. Knitig has worked at NWKTC for 11 years. President Clouse said Knitig’s intimate knowledge of all operations of NWKTC has made her “an essential ingredient to making the college operate smoothly.”

“Sherri provides the college with outstanding performance and dedication,” he said. “She always has a smile on her face. She’s a can-do individual and is most deserving of this award.”
