Associates of Applied Science Degree

The A.A.S. degree is awarded for successful completion of a technical program and general education classes intended for students who desire employment upon graduation or plan to transfer to another institution of higher education. The A.A.S. degree includes a minimum of 15 semester hours of general education courses in addition to its technical program requirements. A minimum of one, three credit hour course from each of the following academic disciplines is required:

Communications

Mathematics

Behavioral Science

Natural or Applied Sciences

Humanities
