Telecommunication Network Analyst

Students enrolled in the Telecommunication Network Analyst program will be prepared for employment in telecommunications and/or data networking careers. Due to industry convergence between telecommunications and data networking technologies, it is necessary to educate student in both areas. A goal of the telecommunications industry is to create an " all IP" network. An example of this is Voice over IP.

The IP world is changing as well, as it was never designed for " real time" application, however; the demand for "real time" IP transfer is increasing. As these demands are made, and industry changes, new protocols are being developed to blend the two technologies. Due to this convergence, industry is demanding technicians with a higher level of training. This program will prepare individuals to become technicians equipped with the knowledge and skills to keep pace with these converging technologies.
