The Certified Nurse Aide course is designed to train individuals to provide direct care to assist residents living in Kansas Adult Care Homes. The course will prepare students to take the certification examination to gain the Certified Nurse Aide Licensure.

Schedule:

Days, times, and locations for the CNA class are listed in the class schedule and may vary each semester.
 
To register for this certification course, please complete the registration form at least three months prior to the beginning of the upcoming semester, as follows:
  • Spring Semester (classes start in January) - register by October 1
  • Summer Semester  (classes start in June) - register by March 1
  • Fall Semester (classes start in August) - register by June 1
*NOTE:  we must have a minimum enrollment of 6 students and a maximum of 10 students to offer the course.  If we do not meet that threshold, students will be notified and asked if they want to be on a waiting list for the next semester."

Pre-Requisites

  1. At least 18 years of age to challenge the Kansas Nurse Aide Test.
  2. An earnest desire to help other people

Note: Some criminal convictions may disqualify a person from employment in the field.
