Early College at Northwest Tech

If you’re a high school student who’s planning to attend college, the best way to save time and money is to earn college credit for free or at a reduced cost through Northwest Tech’s Early College program. We offer a variety of dual credit courses that high school students can take on Northwest Tech’s campus, online, or at participating high schools. Plus, all of our General Education courses are fully transferable to any college in Kansas! Select the pathway below that best fits your goals to learn more about our dual credit course offerings.

You can take general education and/or career and technical education (CTE) courses if you meet one or more of the following criteria:

  • You’re in a gifted/honors program
  • You receive approval from your principal
  • You receive approval from your counselor

Depending on the course, you can take them online, at Northwest Tech, or at your high school if they’re taught by a certified instructor. Talk to your counselor about Northwest Tech’s Early College program to learn more.
